Legacies and Peace Youth Forum: Shared Roots, Shared Future

October 11 @ 1:30 PM - 5:00 PM

Free

Legacies and Peace Youth Forum: Shared Roots, Shared Future is a half day conference to empower youth leadership and engagement by providing a platform for young leaders to share their experiences, ideas, and visions for the future, equipping them with the skills and knowledge to drive positive change in their communities. Addressing legacies of the Indochina wars and promoting peacebuilding, we will facilitate discussions on the impacts of war among Vietnamese, Laotians, and Cambodians and explore ways to heal and move forward. By strengthening regional collaboration and networks, we aim to create opportunities for participants to build partnerships, encouraging the development of collaborative projects that address regional challenges. Ultimately, we strive to build a vision for a shared future, where youth are united by common goals and aspirations, working together to create a prosperous and peaceful Vietnam and Southeast Asia. Co-sponsors: USIP, Columbia University, Legacies of War and US-ASEAN Young Professionals Association.
